Southeast Alaska is a place for discovery. Here you'll find yourself surrounded by abundant wildlife and magestic scenery. With each new day there are new experiences. Alaska is a place where you'll discover that you can find yourself in the solitude of wilderness. Here you'll discover that humpback and orcas whales, seals, sea lions, and porpoises abound. You'll have time to watch rafts of seabirds, listen to the quizzical vocalizations of ravens, and observe the power of bald eagles in flight. With patcience you'll enjoy the sight of bears feeding on shore. Unlike most cruises, we travel during daylight hours, so you won't miss any of the sights. We search out quiet secluded anchorages that bring you into the heart of Alaskan wilderness. When anchored you'll have plenty of time to go ashore for wilderness hikes or take a kayak out for an easy paddle.

Our scheduled trips depart from either Ketchikan or Juneau and are 7-days long. We also offer custom cruises for people who are interested in trips as short as 4-days or for as long as you'd like. Best of all, our trips are limited to groups of 6 or fewer.

Another thing you will discover about cruising aboard the David B, is that our food is amazing. On all of our trips, each day you will be treated to gourmet meals prepared on board. Enjoy just-out-of-the-oven sourdough bread and a bowl of Whiskey Crab soup on deck while you watch whales in Frederick Sound or wake up to fresh squeezed orange juice, handmade croissants, (from scratch aboard and never from a box or tube!) fresh fruit and caribou sausage for breakfast. Each day aboard the David B is special and we work to make sure your meals are as spectacular as the wildlife and scenery that surrounds you in this truly Great Land.

We offer two different cruises in Alaska. Alaska Discovery Cruise, which departs from Juneau and is round-trip or the Alaska Inside Passage Cruise which is a one-way cruise departing from either Ketchikan or Juneau and arriving in either Juneau or Ketchikan.
